সিলেট আইটি একাডেমি ২০১০ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় ফ্রিল্যান্সিং স্কিল ডেভলাপমেন্ট প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে। প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে এই প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে ১০০০+ সাকসেসফুল ফ্রিল্যান্সার তৈরি হয় যাদের অনেকেই ফুলটাইম ফ্রিল্যান্সিং করে আবার অনেকেই ফ্রিল্যান্সিং এর পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশের প্রতিষ্ঠিত আইটি ফার্মগুলোতে চাকুরি করছে।
